A marketing strategy can make a success of a product or service or it can break it – smashed to smithereens – by the inept marketing strategy, the product will never get off the ground ever again and the hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe even millions, will be sunk with no hope of being regained. This is the power of public opinion. The first to realize this power are our erstwhile politicians. The next are the marketing gurus of the world markets. Good public opinion creates success and bad opinion disaster. Some excellent products have been trashed by public opinion and some really bad products have made the markets, albeit for a short period of time. After all you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. It all ‘lies’ in the publicity of the product, a word synonymous with marketing and the public.
If your company is ready to launch a new product or a redesigned product the way it is presented to the public is what matters most. Contrary to popular belief, a product is judged by it’s packaging.
